The eight players that competed in Cologne for a place at the FIWC 2015 Grand Final were: Jan Zimmermann, Daniel Butenko, Kevin Assia, Erhan Kayman, Mirza Jahic, Demis Durante, Sebastian Huber and Savas Destan Oglu.

Anyway, a press release this morning has kindly let us know that a few games have received sizeable discounts through the PlayStation Store to honour the Easter holiday. The deals are as follows:

On PS4, at least, this means you can pick up Tomb Raider for $18, FIFA 15 for $48 and Advanced Warfare for $63.

 

It’s not listed in the press release either, but Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is also heavily discounted to $10.45, down from its usual Australian price of $24.95, while Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is going for a song at $14.95.

Here comes a good news: EA will give out  the free cards and host a celebration for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team 6 years old birthday, which means a chance to save your FIFA 15 Coins - you can get free football players instead of buying. 

 

The games giant is giving away free packs to all FUT 15 players between March 23 (Monday) and March 29 (Sunday).

 

Fans will receive untraceable Gold Rare packs in their account, one for each day.

 

 

To get the new rare gold packs fans just need to open their FUT store on their PC or console.

 

The new packs will be posted in the ‘My Packs’ section, with each pack including 12 rare cards that you cannot sell.

 

"As a thank you for your support, we’ll be giving every FUT fan one free pack every day," an EA statement reads.

SimCity reported strong performance

On the mobile platform, EA’s games—like FIFA, Madden, and NHL—were well received. In 2014, the company shifted to a free-to-play model for the above-mentioned games, which helped these games attract more players.

 

In the mobile sub-segment in 3Q15, Madden NFL Mobile and FIFA 15 Ultimate Team combined reported 45% more monthly active players than the previous versions of these games had in 3Q14.

 

AS a result, Electronic Arts’ revenue grows on mobile hits and subscriptions, which means the importance of mobile platform market.
